Task: |
Precise winding of foil-, fleece- and fabric tapes |
Problem: |
Filament wound tubes consist of layers of fleece, unidirectional tape, fabric, foil and peel ply to achieve certain laminate and surface properties. In the past, this was accomplished by manually holding and tensioning the tape reel. Today, the reel is often mounted on a holder which is fixed on the machine support and retarded with constant torque. The disadvantage here is that the fabric tension increases with decreasing reel diameter, whereby the laminate can be constricted. At high tension the tape can also slip on the sleeve or even tear. In addition, the winding angle usually has to be set manually, which is inconvenient for repeated reciprocating winding. Therefore, the operator needs an appropriate device without such shortcomings. |
Solution: |
The universal Tape Winder solves the problem. By decoupling the tape holder and tape brake the tape tension remains constant over the entire winding process. The tape tension can be adjusted continuously. The Tape Winder is self-sufficient and requires no power supply. |
Types: |
Type 06 This tape winder is constructed in such a way that the tape tangent the mandrel at the same position as the rovings. This eliminates the inconvenient axial position corrections for the starting points of tape in the winding controller program. The setting of the winding angle is carried out automatically by the U-axis and the position of the band by the Z-axis of the winding machine. |
Type 09 This tape winder is able to wind tapes successively on both mandrels of a two-spindle machine. |
|
Type 14 This tape winder is designed for large tape reels and high winding speeds. All settings can be adjusted from the front. |
