The winding method, also called fibre winding or filament winding process (FW), is primarily intended to produce high-strength tubes and hollow bodies. Due to the unique technical features of the process, the designer needs a certain sensitivity to design optimal components.
The individual sections of the training lead practically orientated into the procedure for the design of FW tubes. Several useful calculation tools are introduced. In the practical part different load cases are completely calculated.
